The Heart of Texas Chapter of the TAFP awards annual grants every year for projects relating to health, wellness, and community enrichment. Applicants must be, or be sponsored by, an active or life member of the chapter. Previous grantees may reapply in subsequent years, though preference will be given to applicants seeking discrete funding for start-up expenses, one-time projects, or permanent equipment they might otherwise have difficulty purchasing.
Tier 1 grants are capped at $500. The application is shorter and the review process is abbreviated to encourage applications for smaller projects with shorter turn-around times. For 2025, Tier 2 grants are capped at $3,750.
All requests for funding should be submitted following the guidelines described in the current year's applications and informational sheets. Applications will be evaluated as described in the corresponding informational sheet.
